The children enjoyed a Julia Donaldson scavenger hunt, searching around the setting to find printed characters and books. Each time they discovered one, they proudly marked it off on their sheet. There were lots of excited voices as favourite characters were spotted!
Outside, creativity flowed as the children painted the wall using lots of bright colours. Once the masterpiece was finished, the fun continued by cleaning the wall with water, bubbles, and sponges. We also set up a car wash, ending up with sparkling clean ride on toys.
At the allotments, the spring-like weather inspired lots of imaginative play. The children pretended to sell ice creams and had great fun filling fishing nets with soft play balls.
We made our first visit to the park this year, enjoying the seesaw, swings, and climbing on the play tractor.
Back inside, the children created a lovely tea party, carefully setting up a tea set using real China cups and teapots, and serving colourful pom-poms as pretend treats. .
