On the way to the allotments the children stood up straight against the stems of the tall yellow flowers to see who was taller, them or the flowers. Once at the allotments children used child-friendly hammers to tap golf tees straight into apples. They also gathered handfuls of grass to feed the toy animals in the water tray.
Back at the Pre-school children practiced balancing on the indoor climbing frame, and used ‘tools’ to fix the ride-on-cars. In the garden chalk was offered for the children to mark-make on the tuff tray. We also practiced a bit of self-care this week by brushing our teeth together. Everyone did a brilliant job learning the right motions to keep those pearly whites healthy.
