This week the children enjoyed exploring conker husks, peeling them open to find the shiny, smooth conkers hidden inside! They counted them, talked about different shapes and sizes, and painted them.
There was huge excitement in the garden when giant bags of sand needed emptying. Eagerly the children helped refill the sand pit and dived in to scoop, pour, and build.
At the allotments the children helped Marj tidy up the plant beds and get them ready for the colder months ahead.
Our indoor play areas were transformed into a vets, where children looked after the sick toy animals, and small world cosmic space theme involving rockets, aliens and distant planets.
We finished the week with a trip to the play park.
