To celebrate National Hedgehog Day on Tuesday 2nd February the children observed photo’s, statues and models of hedgehogs, then made their own. Using a range of different materials such as bread, pears, plasticine and playdough they made lovely unique figures to take home (including a shark and a dinosaur!). To celebrate the Big Garden Birdwatch the children made fat balls to hang up at the allotments, chopped up fruit to put in the garden bird feeders and made birds nests out of spaghetti. On our walk along the railway line we found lots of ice, mud and puddles to explore. Marj helped the children
