Beating the Heat!

This week, we adapted our environment to turn our main room and hallways into a dynamic indoor arena. We opened up a brand-new transit zone in the main room, allowing the children to navigate their ride-on toys seamlessly from one room to another. The children absolutely loved the challenge. They successfully: Cruised down the indoor ramp. Negotiated the tight corners of the hallway. Navigated a makeshift “roundabout” built around our central table, and stopped for a takeaway in our café.

With Sports Day just around the corner, we didn’t let the heat interrupt our training. We brought our practice sessions right into the cool of the main room. The children practiced their balancing, running, and teamwork, proving that a little heat can’t stop our competitive spirit.

When it was time to slow down the pace, the children helped Primrose to piece together the scarecrow, which is quickly taking shape! The children decorated shields to use to defend their castle, and enjoyed water play.
