Energy levels were sky-high for our annual Sports Day! The children showed amazing sportsmanship, determination, and lots of giggles across our unique events:
- Welly Waving: Giant boots flying through the air.
- Egg & Spoon: A masterclass in focus and balance.
- Wheelbarrow Race: Fantastic control and upper balance.
- Tyre Rollers: Navigating big wheels down the track.
- Dressing Up: A chaotic, hilarious race to put on layers.
- Tug of War: The ultimate grand finale of team spirit!
To celebrate the end of term, we took our party to the allotments. Activities offered included:
- Hapa Zome: Hammering leaves to reveal beautiful natural pigments.
- Tool Time: Carefully using peelers to prep real carrots.
- Clay Creations: Molding clay and decorating with shiny buttons.
- Soft Textures: Painting vibrant pictures using cotton wool.
- Nature Frames: Gluing lolly sticks to frame our outdoor treasures.
- Green Thumbs: Planting seeds to take home and grow.
We wrapped up our celebrations by gathering around the fire pit for some well-deserved treats and a very special ceremony:
