We’re going on a bear hunt.

At the allotments Primrose set up a bear hunt path for children to act out “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. To enhance the experience she used natural elements, household items and their bodies to make the sounds of “swishy-swashy” grass. to engage the children’s interest.

For her forest school training Fran encouraged the children to collect and explore natural materials to make a nature crown. Petals, leaves, twigs, feathers, and seed pods were used to make colourful crowns.

Using the forks and trowels donated to the Pre-school children planted the broad beans Marj supplied.

Back at the Pre-school Claire suggested the children draw around their hands and arms to make trees, then decorated using different craft materials. In the garden children practised their scissor skills by cutting leaves.

With Halloween just around the corner children made ghosts using plant pots, kitchen roll, googly eyes and glue, and filled baskets up with Halloween shaped pasta.
