High flying bouncy castle fun

This week the room was filled with giggles and pure joy as the children took turns on our indoor bouncy castle. Whilst waiting for their turn children enjoyed their favourite stories in the cosy book corner wigwam tents.

After collecting a giant pile of colourful autumn leaves, the children sorted them into hoops based on size. We used terms like bigger, smaller, huge, and tiny.

Inspired by Julia Donaldson’s classic book Room on the Broom, we held a spooky (but not too scary!) Halloween scavenger hunt. The children searched high and low to find the witch’s lost items: her hat, her wand, her bow, and even a friendly frog and cat!

At the play park we experimented with gravity and speed by rolling and catching balls down the slide and chasing and popping giant bubbles.
