Children’s Christmas boxes are filling up nicely as the children decorated Christmas cakes, stockings, and calendars. Other activities included filling baskets with Christmas shaped pasta using scoops, using Christmas rollers to paint with, and Christmas stamps in playdough.
Long term projects allow children to get deeply involved in an activity. The children keep returning to the bog garden to dig a deeper hole. As they do they are developing essential skills like teamwork, perseverance through challenges, and adapting plans.
