After measuring out and mixing the flour, salt and water the children kneaded it to make a ball. Discovering conkers this week, the children carefully opened the partly wrapped in their spiky green cases, conkers. Revealing the mahogany nuts the children described their small, big, smooth finds, and were delighted to sometimes find more than one in the husks.
