Last weekend (one of the hottest so far) a group of volunteers worked together to transform the allotments. Using pallets, they built a mud kitchen and created a climbing structure, used posts replacing the old ones for the hammock and shelter, mended raised garden beds and replaced the post to the gate. They have created a vibrant and engaging outdoor space that fosters a love for nature, promotes learning, and strengthens the preschool community and we are so grateful. Thank you to everyone who helped, donated and supported this project, including Dansel Gallery and Chapel Lane stores for displaying our collection tins, Bags to school contributions, everyone who bought Christmas raffle tickets, Abbotsbury Beachcombers, and most of all the parents.
