The children had a fantastic day on Tuesday at the Swannery. After walking around the swans before it got too hot and busy, we sought shade in the classroom for some playdough time, followed the paths in the maze, and had fun in the play park.
At the allotments this week the children practised the egg and spoon race for our approaching sports day.
Trying to cool down children, smashed ice blocks, and crushed the nuts trapped inside, used wooden blocks to build bridges and enclosures, sorted food, animals, vehicles and colours, and dressed barbies.
