Hand/eye coordination was definitely needed this week as the children hammered golf tees into a butternut squash using mallets. There was lots going on this week for the children to enjoy and help develop their skills in all areas. Leaf rubbing, opening conkers and conker rolling, digging at the allotments, making cakes, sorting fruit, guess what’s in a sock, cornflour messy play, and painting a butternut squash. Using the produce grown from the garden/allotments sparked the children’s interest this week. What a great week back we had. All the children settled in straight away and were eager to join in with the activities offered.
