For so many people Autumn is their favourite time of year. The beautiful colours, natural treasures, the smell of autumn, fallen leaves and autumn crafts. Autumn begins in September and is a season famous for its harvest times, turning leaves, cooling temperatures and darkening nights. This week the children enjoyed opening conker husks to see the treasures inside, painting with conkers, leaf rubbing, and autumn coloured hand prints.
At the allotments the children used guttering to send balls down and plant bulbs. in the planters.
Spreading kindness and warmth helps build stronger, more compassionate communities. Something as simple as baking a cake can spark joy, connection, and real impact. On Wednesday we had a special delivery from a very generous man we often see walking his dog. His carrot cake was well received amongst the children, each taking a piece home with them.
