To celebrate Ronnie’s birthday on Thursday he brought in tablecloth, plates, cups, hats and delicious cakes.
A Pirate Adventure this week included walking the plank over blue gloop, sand dust buried treasure, tea stained treasure maps, making a pirate puppet, and a pirate ship tuff tray.
We also set a Pool Noodle & Hair Band Challenge. A fine motor activity to build finger strength and bilateral coordination (using both hands together). As the children stretched the hairbands over the noodle, they counted, sorted and made patterns.
At the allotments, children ‘cut the grass, bathed babies, and used drills to make holes’.
