We celebrated Shrove Tuesday in traditional style, holding a pancake race. Much to the amusement of people passing by the children ran, tossed and ate the pancakes. Thank you to Marj, Nicole, Amy and Sam for holding the fort in my absence.
For World Book Day on Thursday the children looked fantastic in their character costumes. A fun World Book Day Scavenger Hunt encouraged the children to look for a frog, lion, dog, bear, food, witch, socks, king, the moon, someone shouting, something funny and even a scene at the seaside. The activity showed children just how much there is to find inside a book. There’s a story out there for everyone!
