All Hallow’s Eve

In preparation for All Hallow’s Eve this week the children participated in lots of Autumn themed crafts. Cutting, sticking and stamping shapes onto paper plates, painting pumpkins & marrows, and hammering golf tees into satsumas, are just some of the activities they engaged in.

Fascinated to see all the cones and traffic lights set up in the road, the children then acted it out in the hall. Using cones, crates, road signs and tractors to recreate the scene outside.

After listening to the story ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ some of the children made bridges with wooden blocks, planks and tyres and pretended to be ‘trolls’ and ‘goats’.
